Saturday Anger Management!

Are you angry all the time? What about disrespectful and can't control it? Then I have a solution just for you! Most of you know that Childline came to Trillium a few days ago talking about anger management. I learnt a few things from what they said in their presentation. Here are some tips and tricks that might help you to control yourself:


  1. Remember that your thoughts control your anger, not the person
  2. Ask yourself if it really was necessary to get violent.
  3. When you are made at the other person, stop and listen to their perspective of the argument.
  4. Get something that makes you happy and try to calm down.
  5. Count to 10 breathing through your nose and up to 10 exhaling through your mouth.
  6. Try getting someone that makes you happy to be with you until you calm down.
